Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I order the wrong size sheet?
If you order a Regular size sheet for a Large mat (or vice versa), the sheet won't fit properly. A sheet that's too small won't cover the mat completely, while a sheet that's too large will be loose and bunchy. Always check your mat's dimensions or model name before ordering to ensure the best fit.
Can I use a Regular sheet on a DayDreamer mat?
It depends on which DayDreamer you have! The Jr. DayDreamer uses a Regular size sheet, while the 1" DayDreamer (24" x 48") requires a Large size sheet. Check your mat's dimensions to be sure.
Do the sheets shrink after washing?
Our KinderSheets are made from 100% cotton flannel and are pre-shrunk during manufacturing. However, like all cotton products, some minimal shrinkage may occur. We recommend washing in cold water and tumble drying on low to maintain the best fit.
Will a Full-Cover sheet fit differently than a regular sheet?
Full-Cover sheets are designed with the same sizing as our regular pillowcase-style sheets. Choose Regular or Large based on your mat size, just as you would with our standard sheets.
I have an older KinderMat. How do I know which size sheet to get?
Simply measure your mat! If it's approximately 19" x 45", choose a Regular sheet. If it's approximately 24" x 48", choose a Large sheet. When in doubt, feel free to contact us with your mat's measurements and we'll help you find the perfect fit.
Can I use the same sheet for different mats?
Yes! As long as your mats are the same size category. For example, a Regular sheet will fit any Basic KinderMat, Jr. DayDreamer, or Toddler KinderMat. This makes it easy to swap sheets between mats or have extras on hand.
Do all designs come in both Regular and Large sizes?
Most of our designs are available in both sizes, but some specialty designs may only be available in Regular size. Check the product page for the specific design you're interested in to see available size options.
How do I put the sheet on the mat?
Our KinderSheets feature a pillowcase style design with a sewn-in flap. Simply slide the mat into the sheet like you would a pillow into a pillowcase. The flap keeps the sheet securely in place during naptime.
